Account access and recovery
Counsel uses Google, Microsoft or a one-time email code when the option is configured. Counsel does not issue an ordinary account password to reset.
Google or Microsoft
Use the same provider and email address you used for Counsel. Recover your provider credentials through Google or Microsoft directly. Never share your provider password or verification codes with Counsel support.
Email sign-in
Use the sign-in page to request an eight-digit code. Check spam if the email is delayed. Codes expire; request a new one through sign-in instead of reusing an expired code.
Lost access to your email?
Restore email access with your email provider first. If you cannot recover it, contact Counsel support for an account ownership review. Support cannot bypass identity checks.
Saved data and guest chats
Signed-in conversations and files belong to the authorized account. Browser-only chats may remain on that browser only. Signing into a different account does not transfer private data automatically.
