Data and storage
How data is saved depends on the Counsel experience and whether you are signed in.
Browser conversations
Guest conversations may be stored in your current browser. They are not a substitute for an account backup; clearing browser data or changing devices can make them unavailable.
Account conversations
When authenticated persistence is available, saved conversations are associated with your account. Access requires a valid session and account permissions.
Attachments and private records
Only upload files you are authorized to process. Upload availability and retention depend on storage configuration and the applicable privacy terms. An upload is not confirmed until Counsel reports completion.
Deletion and export
Review your account controls for available export and deletion actions. Some records may be retained where legally necessary. Read the Privacy notice for the applicable process.
